Carmen Cearley is a self-taught artist born and raised in Pontiac, Michigan. She moved to Florida in 1982. She comes from a family of accomplished artists. Her grandmother encouraged her art work as a young child and since then she has developed a particular style of her own. Carmen has learned much of her techniques over the past 30 years from books and magazines using acrylics as her medium. Her interest are in painting what she feels are “the simple things in life” in her paintings of historical landmarks and quiet landscapes.
She has exhibited her art work in solo and group showcases in many local galleries and community buildings in West Palm Beach, Florida as well as corporate and private collections in the United States and Europe.
